The Global Theatre Project’s work began in Florence, Italy where we continue to do projects.

We established as a US Not-For-Profit in Los Angeles, California extending the family of The GTP. In LA we worked for 3 years connecting community members and artists to each other and to our Florence community.

Our move to the east coast of the United States found us in Baltimore, Maryland where the relationship with Community Renewal International began and the methodology of our work was refined.

In 2024 our Artistic Director was awarded a Fulbright and traveled to Bratislava, Slovakia to introduce the work of Art For Social Renewal and its connection to Community Renewal.

Currently we are working in Washington, D.C. bringing We Care Artists to the Woodland Terrace neighborhood of Anacostia to bridge and build relationships with other neighborhoods in the city.

Our members are on two continents with thousands of miles between them. But we are of one mind and one heart:

the arts are a necessary partner in healing our world.
