Pillar #3 – Artistry

The work and methodology of The GTP and #Theatre4SocialRenewal rests on the strength of Four Pillars. If you open the door to everyone for discovering and evolving their innate creativity the world will reflect expressions of the curious, the passionate – who mirror and comment on the beauty and the contradictions of our world. Our communities will flourish, our lives will be enriched.

Young artists in our Florence program explored what Light Graffiti might add to city nightlife and communal interaction

This third pillar invites artists to go deeper and ‘non-artists’ to take first steps toward their artistic center. Every human being is creative. We have siloed artists and artistry from the core of our communities for too long. And we have, as societies and a world at large, suffered from this separation.

This first discussion with Miguel Perez focused on his love of and expertise in Shakespeare. Miguel shared a deep passion as well as interesting perspectives for professionals and a well-thought-out process for those who want to begin engaging with Shakespeare.
