On the eve of another attack on the NEA, I felt it important to share an easy assessment of the facts.  Brian Seitel created this simple breakdown of how the NEA’s current budget compares to our median income.  Please consider copying this image and forwarding it to your representatives in all levels of government.  Without the NEA we have no national representation for the arts.  And, if you follow the logic in this image, you will see that investing in the arts is an investment we must embrace if purely for the economic benefits.
